Donna McLean, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak), will be the featured speaker at the Monday evening dinner at the 2008 ICNS Conference.
Ms. McLean will be speaking about the case for bimodal air-rail transportation policy for congested corridors.
As Chairman of the Board, McLean leads the board of Amtrak, the nation’s intercity passenger railroad, which operates in 46 states on a 21,000-mile system serving more than 500 stations. A former official at the U.S. Department of Transportation, she is owner of Donna McLean Associates, LLC, a Washington, DC-based consulting firm specializing in transportation policy.
Prior to forming Donna McLean Associates, McLean was Assistant Secretary for Budget and Programs and Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
