Helpful Tips for Presenters

As the conference approaches:

  1. Read the instructions below for either plenary or technical session presenters.
  2. Check the 2010 Agenda regularly for updates.
  3. Register by the deadline (Please note IEEE Policy below).
  4. Make your hotel reservations early.
  5. Technical Sessions: Submit your paper and submit your presentation online, as well as the IEEE Copyright form, by the deadlines below.
    • New: Check the ICNS 2010 Status of Papers to ensure your paper has been received, your registration has been confirmed, and that your IEEE Copyright form has been received.
  6. Download the 2010 ICNS Conference Poster for your presentation.

Technical Sessions Instructions (Afternoon)

Abstracts have been reviewed and accepted, with letters of acceptance emailed to each primary author on March 15th, 2010.

Instructions for submitting papers and presentations are included again below for the convenience of Technical Session authors & presenters.

The following provides details regarding the requirements for your presentation. If you choose to, you may also submit a full paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

For all presentations, the deadline is April 30, 2010. Below are the requirements for your submission:

  • Presentations are limited to 30 minutes each, including Q & A.
  • Electronic submission in Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
  • If you cannot meet the deadline, please bring CD or Memory Stick to the registration desk. No Macintosh compatibility available.

Please check the website in by April for agenda updates so you are aware of your speaking time.

Please Note Latest IEEE Policy

The Conference Proceedings will be included in the IEEE Interactive Electronic Library (IEL) as part of IEEE Xplore. All authors who have been accepted must register for the conference by the deadline and attend the conference to present their paper.

Authors who do not attend the conference to present their papers, or arrange for a co-author or knowledgeable colleague to present their paper in the absence of the primary author, will not have their paper published in the IEEE IEL and IEEE Xplore, per the most recent IEEE policy.
