Online Registration, Hotel Reservation Now Available for ICNS 2010

Discounted registration is good through May 1, 2010 for this May 11-13 event at the Westin Washington Dulles Hotel. Additional discounts are available for AIAA and IEEE members.

The Technical Program is overfull, with almost 100 technical papers slated to be presented. Each day starts with a Plenary session. Both the Technical Program and Plenary program will be available soon on the conference web site.

A social event is planned for Wednesday afternoon (May 12th) starting with a special tour of the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center followed by a hosted reception at the hotel.

Online registration and hotel reservation information for the ICNS Conference 2009 are now available.

Register online now. A discounted advance rate is available for payment received by May 1, 2009. (Authors, see special registration instructions)
Make your hotel reservations now. This is a limited room block, and the hotel may sell out early. The conference room block cut-off date is Wednesday, April 29th. After that date, the conference rate will go up to the hotel’s prevailing rate.

AIAA Applauds Congress’ Action On NASA Conference Participation

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (3/24) announced that it “applauds the swift action of Congress to affirm the ability of NASA to participate in technical conferences, by clarifying the intent of language inserted into the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Authorization Act of 2008…signed into law on March 11, 2009.”

AIAA President George Muellner “welcomed this news,” saying, “Now forums, such as those hosted by AIAA…can continue to occur with the active participation of all interested parties.” AIAA Executive Director Bob Dickman said, “We appreciate the efforts of all those involved in helping to eliminate what had become a significant barrier to NASA’s ability to disseminate its critical research and development accomplishments.” (View Full PDF Announcement)

Last Day to Register for the Early Rate

The last day to register to receive the early conference rate is Thursday, May 1 at midnight (Eastern Time US). After that time, the registration fee increases, including onsite/walk-in registration.

Speakers/Authors & Session Chairs: Please indicate on the registration form your category registration rate if you are a “Plenary Speaker” (morning session), “Technical Session Chair” or “Technical Speaker” (afternoon session).
