ICNS 2026 Author Instructions

Abstract Submission Through Oxford Abstracts

Prospective authors are invited to submit an abstract of 250 – 750 words, clearly defining the goal of the work, its tasks, methods, or results (anticipated or completed) as well as the potential benefits or applications of the work. A submission implies willingness to register and present the work if the paper is accepted for presentation at the Conference.

Upon submission of your abstract, you must state whether you intend to publish a final paper, if you would like to be considered for awards, and if your submission is a student paper.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts must submit the final camera-ready paper and/or final presentation according to the deadline, register for the conference and present their work. The maximum length for final papers is 15 pages without exceptions.

All accepted papers presented at the conference will be submitted for publication to IEEE Xplore.

Any AI-usage must in essence be compliant with AI policies of the following:

  • AIAA (Obligations of Authors) and 
  • IEEE (Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Generated Text).
  • The essence is: Any majorly generated content must be revealed in detail. AI is not a normal reference. The author is fully responsible for all content in terms of (copy)rights and correctness.

Plagiarism: work copied or previously published must be referenced according to established scientific standards. This is also true for author’s own previous work. In general, papers should provide new original content, with no more than 25% of the paper covering previously published work.

Account Registration

Each lead author must visit the Oxford Abstracts website and establish an account with a username and password. An account is needed or must be created during submission. Only the email registered with Oxford Abstracts for the submitting corresponding author will receive email notifications.

Submission of Papers

To submit a paper, please perform the following steps:

  1. Create account at the Oxford Abstracts Submission Portal.
  2. Type in the title of the abstract/paper and enter the 250 – 750 word abstract of your submission
  3. Select the topic area your paper falls under best. [Note: This will help in placing your submission in its final track]
  4. Answer all required questions
  5. Enter ALL corresponding author information (name, email, affiliation, country)
  6. Click the “Submit” button

IEEE Copyright Notice

If an author would like to post their papers electronically on any web site, any ftp site, or any other electronic dissemination technique, they must include the IEEE Copyright notice on the initial screen displaying the IEEE-copyrighted material. Additional information is available here.

Format for Accepted Papers

Final conference papers must be submitted following the IEEE conference templates here.  Failure to use the template may result in papers not being included in the Proceedings.

  • Style Manual (use A4 format in latex or word)

Accepted Papers will be submitted for publication to IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI/Compendex.

Using the IEEE template is mandatory, and any variation from the IEEE template may lead to immediate rejection of your paper by the system.

ICNS Papers, Proceedings and IEEE Xplore

If your paper is accepted by ICNS and you or a co-author present at the ICNS conference, your paper will be included in the ICNS proceedings and then submitted for inclusion  in the IEEE Xplore.
