The 2016 Integrated Communications Navigation and Surveillance (ICNS) Conference addresses long-term research and development of integrated CNS technologies for advanced aeronautical digital information systems and applications supporting the future global air transportation systems.

Jointly sponsored by government and industry, the ICNS Conference assembles national and international government and industry leaders to address important policy issues with technical experts and thought leaders.

The focus is on understanding CNS programs, plans, research and technology, and other relevant issues impacting aviation modernization.

ICNS 2016 invites exhibits and product demonstrations by representatives of CNS-related industries and organizations. Best Paper Competition – Student and Professional

The 2016 ICNS Conference is sponsoring student and professional Best Paper competitions. Active students and professionals within two years of graduation are eligible for ICNS Student Best Paper honorarium awards. Those not eligible for Best Student Paper are eligible for Best Professional Paper awards.

Abstract Submission

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of no more than 750 words by Friday, 18 December 2015 on the key topical areas listed above or other relevant aeronautical CNS topics.

  • Abstract Submission Date: 18 December 2015
  • Notification of Acceptance: 22 January 2016
  • Final Paper Submission Date: 19 March 2016
