
We are pleased to announce that the ICNS Executive Committee has selected Paul Bosman as the 2025 recipient of the ICNS Champion Award, in recognition of his exemplary contributions to advancing communications, navigation, and surveillance technologies and infrastructure for aviation, as well as his long-standing commitment to the ICNS Conference.
The ICNS Champion Award, presented annually by the ICNS Executive Committee and Digital Avionics Technical Committee (DATC), honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of CNS technologies and the evolution of modern air traffic management concepts and procedures. Both scientific and policy-related achievements are considered.
Paul Bosman, the 2025 ICNS Champion, has played a key role in the advancement of CNS technologies and has demonstrated strong support for the ICNS Conference. He has served the aviation community for more than 30 years. In his current role as manager of the ATM Infrastructure Division at EUROCONTROL’s Network Manager, he works closely with the European Commission, SESAR Joint Undertaking, SESAR Deployment Manager, EASA, and other air traffic management stakeholders. For more than a decade, he has been a dedicated contributor to the ICNS Conference.
